Capoeira Festival

On December 8, Solar Meninos de Luz and Saravá Capoeira, in partnership with Portal da Cabala, will hold the 6th edition of the Cultural Festival Capoeira Criança Feliz event.

The children of Pre-School to the 1st year of High School are part of the Capoeira Baptism ceremony and cords exchange at Meninos de Luz Theater.

The audience was filled with parents and family, who came to watch our children play on the capoeira wheel and change ropes with the guidance of Master Ninho.

Capoeira Baptism means the graduation in the sport, which is symbolized by the color of the rope that the players wear tied at the waist. Each level gets a different color.

Capoeira is a beautiful demonstration of Brazilian culture, which includes martial art, sport, culture and music. It is one of the most chosen activities by our students at the beginning of the school year.
