Choir, Chorinho School and Percussion Workshop final Presentations

On the 11th, at 2:30 p.m., students of Solar Choir, Chorinho School and Percussion Workshop made a great year-end presentation.

Solar Choir began the presentation. Students from 3rd to 5th year of Elementary School I and from 6th to 9th year of Elementary School II sang songs like ‘Fico Assim Sem Você’ (How I get without you) in Adriana Calcanhotto version and ‘Trem-Bala’ (Bullet train) by Ana Vilela. Solar Choir is sponsored by Portal da Cabala.

Then, students of Chorinho School presented themselves. They have lessons of guitar, transverse flute, cavaquinho and percussion (tambourine) and have shown a little of what they have learned this year. In the end, they played together Asa Branca (White wing), by Luiz Gonzaga. Chorinho School is carried out through the State Law of Culture Incentive, with Light sponsorship.

Finally, students of Percussion Workshop cheered the audience. Classes are taught by former student and volunteer teacher Jeferson Amaral, who brought members of Monobloco and Estratégia bands to play with the students. Songs like ‘Santa Clara’, ‘Emoriô’, ‘Simples Desejo’ and ‘Rap do Salgueiro’ were part of the repertoire.
