Solidarity Cinema for Lar de Sarepta asylum

On April 27, Solar Meninos de Luz held two sessions of solidarity cinema. The project aims to teach our children on the importance of helping others; the importance of generosity.

As a cinema entrance, students donated personal products such as toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, geriatric diaper, cotton, swab, among others. The collected items will be donated to ‘Lar de Sarepta’ asylum, an institution that shelters and cares for 32 needy elderly.

Early Childhood Education students watched the film ‘Sing’, an animation about Buster, an excited coala who decides to create a singing competition to raise the proceeds of his old theater.

Elementary School I students watched the film ‘Looking for Dory’, animation about the little forgetful fish, that gets into several confusions when trying to find his family.

Solar is very proud of its students for participating with love of solidarity projects and is happy to be able to keep active this current for good.
